BIEGLO offers PEEK micro-mold parts up to 12mm in the largest dimension. Our smallest part to date is roughly 800µm x 300µm x 380µm and the thin wall section near 0.1mm. PEEK micro-mold parts must have a gate and ejection location consideration and the material selection can greatly affect the fill and definition of features.

BIEGLO can offer PEEK powders in various viscosities. It can be used for a variety of applications: semi-finished product extrusion, injection molding, compounding, filament and film extrusion, coatings. Our CoPEEK 012P is a high viscous, unreinforced PEEK for extrusion and injection molding, thus it is the standard type for the production of semi-finished products. CoPEEK 021P is medium viscous, unreinforced PEEK for injection molding. But it can also be extruded for the production of films and filaments. CoPEEK 085P is low viscous, unreinforced PEEK for the extrusion of films and filaments. It is also used as the basis for compounds and composites. Our CoPEEK can be processed on machines for thermoplastics without any problems. We recommend a processing temperature of 360 °C to 380 °C. BIEGLO CoPEEK is ISO 10993 certified for medical applications and also has FDA certification.

BIEGLO can organize the production of your PEEK finished parts according to your drawing and material specifications. Due to the integration of raw material sources (granulate and powder) up to the application technology we can recommend you the suitable processing of PEEK. PEEK finished parts can be produced for a variety of applications, for examples, compressor valve plates, fittings or screws. Finished parts can be produced by turning, injection molding, CNC machining or in the 3D printer.

BIEGLO can offer a variety of PEEK compounds, both as raw material and as semi-finished product. PEEK compounds can be supplied with carbon or glass fibers as well as with PTFE and tribological compounds with a mix of PEEK, PTFE, carbon fibers and graphite. In addition, PEEK color compounds can also be supplied. PEEK-CF30 impresses with its outstanding mechanical and thermal properties. The carbon fibers provide increased stiffness, creep resistance and better thermal conductivity. Furthermore, PEEK-CF30 has exceptional resistance to hydrolysis in boiling water or hot steam. PEEK-GF30 impresses with its improved mechanical strength and high rigidity. In addition, the creep resistance and dimensional stability is increased. The glass fibers provide increased life in high static and high temperature applications over a long period of time. PEEK-GF30 does not dissolve in common solvents and resists high gamma rays.

The Dexnyl PEEK shrink tube provides a protective layer for sensitive or critical components as an alternative to traditional materials. PEEK shrink tubes are particularly effective in environments where extreme heat or cold, high pressure, or chemicals, water, or dielectric interference endangers wires and electrical components. BIEGLO can offer PEEK shrink tubing with a diameter of 0.965mm to 9.957mm. PEEK is a thermoplastic polymer that is commonly used instead of metal or other types of plastics. PEEK has a temperature resistance of up to 240 ° C and a special resistance to chemicals.

BIEGLO can offer PEEK granulates in various viscosities. BIEGLO offers recycled PEEK as granules. This R-PEEK is produced in Europe and offers a very good cost position compared to virgin material. At the same time, BIEGLO is doing something good for the environment in terms of sustainability. PEEK as a high performance thermoplast keeps its properties throughout the recycling process. PEEK-residues do not end up in an incineration plant, but are being recycled in a quality assured way. The Dexnyl PEEK tubes can be an intelligent solution for round and hollow pieces. They are mostly extruded or compression molded. But BIEGLO GmbH offers also injection molded PEEK tubes and spin casting PEEK tubes in long and short length and special thin wall tubes. Parts made-up of our PEEK offer excellent hydrolysis and electrical insulation. PEEK is the ideal replacement for metal and other plastics due to its high temperature resistance of up to 240°C , excellent chemical and wear resistance. Our range of PEEK tubes starts with 25mm up to 1.480mm (external diameter); 20mm up 1.300mm (internal diameter). Our PEEK tubes are also available made of compounded PEEK.

BIEGLO offers high temperature resistant and flame retardant fibers. The application is similiar to meta-aramid, but PI fibers have its own advantages. The long-term service temperature is 260℃. The decomposition temperature is 560℃. The LOI is 38%, it means it is non-flameble fiber. The Dexnyl Polyimide fibers are applicable in many products, but they are used best in niche-applications with extreme standards for the material: 1- FR Protective clothing: e.g. military fligth clothing, flame resistand underwear, firefighter uniform etc. 2- High temperature filtration and industrial insulation: e.g. dedusting filtration for cement factories, steel or powder plants, air filtration for painting area operated at more than 300°C . 3- Composite material: taking advantage of insulation, flame retardance and high emperature resistance, chopped fiber can be used as reinforced material.

Polyetherimide has recently joined the BIEGLO portfolio. Our sales portfolio for PEI contains rods and sheets from 8mm to 100mm diameter. As well as, PEI thin films below 1mm thickness. The maximum width is 1200mm for sheets and film. Polyetherimide is an amorphous thermoplastic and part of the polyimide family. It has excellent dimensional accuracy over a wide temperature range and has low thermal expansion. PEI is naturally flame retardant and has a fire rating of UL94 V-0. The most common applications of PEI are in the food and beverage industry, pharmaceutical and electronics industry as well as precision engineering.

The Dexnyl PEEK filaments of BIEGLO is a high performance product made by melt spinning. Semicrystalline PEEK has high tensile strength, it is exceptionally resistant to chemicals and can withstand extreme temperatures. These features ensure a longer product life, lower maintenance costs, less machine downtime and wider material design options compared to steel or aluminum parts. PEEK filaments can be used very well for 3D printing. Printing with PEEK requires 360 ° C to 380 ° C. So far, only specially modified 3D printers are able to achieve this heat. Sliced ​​woven and/or unidirectional fibers significantly reinforce matrix material and are a popular additive for composites. PEEK filaments are also used on musical instruments, rackets and wide or narrow woven straps, filtration mesh fabrics and sewing threads. Due to their low weight and high temperature resistance, PEEK filaments are popular in many other industies, such as automotive and aerospace industries.

Polyimide film offers a great thermal resistance, excellent dielectric strength as well as optimal dimensional stability. Our Polyimide film has a natural red-brownish color and is transparent.

BIEGLO offers polyimide tubes with inner diameters starting from 2mm and going down to 100 micron. Our polyimide tubing are mainly used in the medical industry for catheters or neurovascular applications. Dexnyl polyimde tubings are extruded from thermoplastic polyimides and offer excellent pushability and tractability as well as ultra-smooth surface and transparency. USP class VI (USP 6) compliance is of course a given.

PAI material considers the most efficient fusible thermoplastic in terms of temperature resistance, chemical resistance and mechanical stress. Its mechanical strength at 205 °C surpasses many engineering plastics at room temperature.
